Dr. Kim performs numerous related surgical services, from biopsies to excision (removal) of skin cancers. We also provide Mohs Micrographic Surgery (MMS). No other approach to treatment boasts higher “cure” rates than Mohs. This precision technique may be appropriate for the most common basal cell and squamous cell carcinomas, select melanomas, recurrent malignancies, as well as complex or challenging tumors in visible or functionally important areas where tissue preservation is essential (i.e., on the face, hands, ears, and feet)
- Medical dermatology – Beyond Skin Dermatology is built on a sound foundation of experience and talent in diagnosing, treating, and managing thousands of conditions that fall under the broad umbrella of “dermatology” (affecting the skin, hair, and nails). We commonly provide sustained relief from many conditions that can take a great personal toll on our patients’ lives. Dr. Sang Kim
BOARD CERTIFIED DERMATOLOGIST
Dr. Sang Kim is a board-certified dermatologist and founder of Beyond Skin Dermatology. He seeks to integrate dermatologic expertise seamlessly with a passion for healthy lifestyle habits. A graduate of the Uniformed Services University in 2013, Dr. Kim served as a Naval Flight Surgeon for four years before completing a dermatology residency at the prestigious Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year.
